| Details: | SUMMARY: total and e.coli positive routine sample result DETAILS: June 4, 2012 routine sample showed total and e.coli coliform present (chlorine residual of 0.10). Called Bill Bingle to let him know that water system needed to take 4 repeat samples as well as a source sample within 24 hours. Mr. Bingle noted that he was reluctant to take that number of samples. I noted that DWP/County would put water system on a boil-water notice if 4 repeats plus source samples were not taken. Violation would also be incurred. I let him know that boil-water notice would not be lifted in that case until appropriate samples were taken. ACTION NEEDED: Follow up on 6/7/12 to determine whether County needs to put water system on boil water notice. 5 temporary routines are also needed for July. | ||
