| Details: | SUMMARY: Following up on PNC & nitrate non-reporting violations DETAILS: I had contacted this system a couple weeks ago, and they were going to ask their lab to re-submit the nitrate results. No new results were appearing in the database, so I checked in with Roxane again. She was surprised to find out that not even the nitrate sample she took in January 2012 had been received. She said the lab was having trouble finding her sampling records. She will contact the lab again. She was also still a bit confused about the nitrates versus the routine coliform sampling - nitrate samples are taken at the entry point (one sample per entry point per year), whereas the coliform samples are taken in the distribution piping and is not dependent on the number of sources/entry points. ACTION NEEDED: I put a copy of the one-page monitoring requirements sheet for Transient Non-Community systems into the mail to Roxane, along with a list of the labs that are certified to conduct tests for public drinking water systems in Oregon. | ||
