| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform source and repeat samples DETAILS: I called Ed and he already know about the positive total coliform samples. He had Steves Pump out on 5/7/12 to disinfect the well and distribution system. The restaurant was closed for the evening to allow for contact time over night. Ed is flushing the water this morning to try to open the facility today. I recommended they take a couple of special samples after the chlorine is flushed from the system to see if the disinfections was effective. I let him know that he would need to post a public notice. I emailed Ed a link to the public notice. He will send me a completed copy of the notice and post at the restaurant. I let him know that 5 temporary samples would be needed for June. ACTION NEEDED: Obtain a copy of the public notice. Monitor further sampling and respond as necessary. | ||
