Details: | SUMMARY: Assist on how to label the water samples DETAILS: Michael sent the 6 water samples in and he received a call from the lab to make sure they were marked correctly. I spoke to him and called the lab to assure they were labeled properly. 6 samples were taken, 2 source samples since both wells were operating at the time of the initial positive and 4 temporary routines. All the samples came back negative. During the investigation it was noted that a mouse nest was located in the reservoir building. It was removed and the entry hole sealed. 5/15/12 I called Michael and told him that one more temporary routine sample was needed for the system in May. If that sample was negative then the system could go back to one sample in June. Boil water notice was lifted prior to all the necessary testing. I called Sue at Analytical (541-485-8404) and asked her to send the information of the negative t3est results to the state and she said she would have that done. April 25th, 5 samples were submitted and 2 were from the wells and they were marked as triggered. They were from the wells and taken on the same day as the temporary routine samples. I informed Michael of this and the state changed the sample labels to assessment samples. I explained to Michael that routine samples need to be taken from distribution. He came by and picked up a sample bottle and will sample another triggered. He may have to take it from the same location as one of the other samples since some of the other households are inaccessible at this time. I told him that would be OK since there are not that many good sample sited and the system is small ACTION NEEDED: none |
