Details: SUMMARY: 1000 gal diesel spill Big Butter Cr Hwy DETAILS: 7/2/12 1010am near Big Butter Creek Hwy MP 16 (Umatilla County), Hermiston Fire reported a truck with a 1,000 gallon diesel tank has capsized on the shoulder of the highway near Big Butter Creek as a result of a single vehicle motor vehicle crash. Tank has a slow leak, unknown how much diesel has been released No truck information available. Unknown quantity released. Fire Dept. and private party cleanup responded. Big Butter Creek is near, but reportedly unaffected as of report. Forwarded to DWP Pendelton office Bill Goss & Amy Word as an FYI. ACTION NEEDED: None
