| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed new well DETAILS: Brandi called regarding plan review related to the Administrative Order issued on July 6, 2012 and the fact that the well appears to be failing at the Pleasant Hill Shopping Center. I referred Brandi to Jay MacPherson for any questions regarding plan review, but asked that she call me with any information about actions taken at the water system that could affect compliance with the deadlines in the Order. I stated that the history of lead and copper in water samples at the system suggests that a new well will not resolve the problem, and that the DWP is unlikely to modify any requirements in the order. The DWP is also likely to require water quality parameters be collected immediately if a new well is drilled. Brandi stated that the owners, a well driller, and Oregon Water Services will be meeting Friday to discuss the situation. ACTION NEEDED: Ensure compliance with the current administrative order until there is a definitive change to suggest otherwise. | ||
