Details: SUMMARY: New well DETAILS: Called as reminder a new well has to go through plan review. Even though the intent is to go deeper to reach water with higher pH, since lead and copper have been an issue with the existing well, water quality parameter monitoring is necessary. Analysis for pH, alkalinity, hardness (calcium, magnesium, iron) are required (water quality parameter monitoring). If the new well is within 100 feet of the existing well, the existing well will have to be abandoned. Please send site map showing well location before it is drilled. ACTION NEEDED: none
