| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: 5/26/12 Email communication from operator. They reshocked the system and think they have identified the source of potential contamination. Inside faucet spigot elbow was corroded and pitted which may have provided harborage to bacteria. Plan to were brush or wheel hardware to remove pitting. 6/4/12 Received email systems public notice for Mays coliform positive repeats. 6/5/12 Coliform from operator, routine 5 samples came back negative. Discussed with operator the level of the public notice Tier 2 required due to this type of alert. A boil water Tier 1 noticed not required. ACTION NEEDED: I will mail in public notice to the state for proof. System back on quarterly coliform sampling schedule. | ||
