Details: SUMMARY: Waterline break DETAILS:


Frank contacted DWP about a main waterline break at 9:45 pm last night.

  • The line was repaired at 1:35 am, chlorinated and flushed for 45 minutes.
  • Pressure readings at 12:30 am were still positive downstream/downhill of the break at 8 psi.
  • Pressure readings at 12:30 am was zero for 5-6 services upstream/uphill of the break and these residents were notified directly.
  • Coliform samples will be collected today. Advised that they collect a sample tomorrow, review of BMPs for service outages and to notify all customers to flush lines prioritizing the out of service customers.

On Monday, July 30th, Frank notified the DWP and all coliform samples collected were absent. ACTION NEEDED: None
