| Details: | SUMMARY: On Line Turbidity Monitoring DETAILS: HBH was contacted by Mr Van Dyken following a Sanitary Survey from DWP. The smallcommunity system pulls water from Rock Creek. This water is treated by an old Key-Pac CCB package treatment plant. This plant is a conventional process using hydraulic coagulation/ flocculation, followed by sedimentation, then rapid sand filtration. Following treatment, disinfection is accomplished using liquid NaOCI. The water system supplies 19 homes. The estimated service population is 40. One of the requirements of the Sanitary Survey was for the water system to automatically monitor turbidity, and to provide for an emergency shutoff problem callout. Additional issues were also discussed recommendations for installation of turbidity, including approximate project cost. ACTION NEEDED: Provide final recommendations and assist with sealing of cistern cracks and contact tracer study. | ||
