| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead and Copper Issues DETAILS: The Eddyville Charter School has a groundwater water system that serves approximately 200 students and staff. The October 2011 lead and copper tests resulted in lead levels over the EPA Action Level with copper levels approaching the Action Level (but not exceeding). The Circuit Rider was briefly contacted by Mr. Lightle to discuss the possibility of fixture replacement. Subsequently, it was made known by County Staff that the schools existing corrosion control system may not have been in operation. Provided input to DWP and County Staff regarding actions/advice sought by the School District. Reviewed historical lead and copper issues at the school. ACTION NEEDED: Provide assistance to school if requested (possibly to help in operational knowledge regarding the existing corrosion control system). | ||
