| Details: | SUMMARY: Chemical Feed Assistance DETAILS: HBH was contacted by Dave Terrusa with the Langlois Water District to provide assistance with chemical optimization at the water treatment plant. The current coagulation chemical is alum. Jason Canaday reviewed chemical dosing procedures and assisted Mr. Terrusa and Northstar Chemical representative with jar testing for the determination of an alternative coagulant. Preliminary indications are that conversion to either ACH or PACL would be beneficial to performance. It was also recommended that the pH control chemcal addition be moved downsteram of the coagulant addition. ACTION NEEDED: Assist with dosing for chemical switch, if desired by the District. | ||
