| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up to lead and copper (LCR) excursion DETAILS: I emailed Paul again to find out if he had discussed the minimum pH set for the system. I also emailed Jay to find out if he had talked to Paul yet. Jay said he called voice mail to say the pH was below 7 and what should he do about it. The water system provided limited data on pH and I set the excursion limit based on those limited data which was pH 7.0. The water system chose to use corrosion control without pH adjustment. They will have to live with excursions if their future lead and copper results are below action levels. If lead or copper exceed action levels they will have to add pH adjustment. If this later situation occurs the excursion limit may be increased. I left Paul a message explaining what Jay had said. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
