| Details: | SUMMARY: Aug 7 TC + raw water sample DETAILS: I called Trent at the lake Campground in response to an Aug 7th total coliform present, E. coli absent source water sample from Lost Lake. I indicated to Trent that source water coliform samples are not required for surface water systems, like Lost Lake CG. I referred Trent to the template coliform sampling plan that explains that source coliform samples are only needed for groundwater systems. ACTION NEEDED: Lost Lake CG to continue to sample colform monthly during operating season, and to contact Pyxis lab to ensure any August routine distribution coliform samples are submitted to the DWP. I forwarded a template coliform sampling plan to Trent and will offer support as necessary, encourage him to fill out plan and become familiar with the sample locations, both routine and repeat. | ||
