| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to 30 gal hydraulic oil spill outside of Prineville - OERS 2012-2066 DETAILS: Eric, PH Duty Officer, called to notify me of OERS spill report 2012-2066 for a spill of approximately 30 gallons of hydraulic fluids and fuels into the ground at a construction site at 3842 NW Business Evans Road in Prineville. No surface water appears to be impacted. After consulting the location of City of Prinevilles supply wells, it was determined that the location is approximately two miles from the Citys nearest well. Given the volume of the amount spilled, it was determined not necessary to contact the City. I explained to Eric DWPs standard notification protocol for surface water spills in close proximity to surface water intakes. ACTION NEEDED: No action at this time. Continue to track and monitor any associated spills in this area. | ||
