| Details: | SUMMARY: system had confirmed e. Coli in distribution DETAILS: System had 2 distribution positive samples: 1 total coliform in one residence and fecal coliform in another residence. The county contact was on vacation - so initial contact made by OHA. E-mailed Doug the boil water notice. Suggested the tanks get batch chlorinated with 3 cups of bleach and flushed. System to remain on boil water notice until 5 good samples are received. Ryan with Union Co. had made contact with Doug and an investigation of the system showed animal nests in the pump building. ACTION NEEDED: Distribute boil water notices, batch chlorinate storage tanks, flush, and resample for coliform bacteria in system. OHA mailed system a few chlorine test packets to use to check for chlorine in system. System to send copies of public notice to both Union Co. and OHA. 5 routine samples are due in September. | ||
