| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert for nitrate result of 10.0 DETAILS: Responded to the alert because Scott Kruger of Benton Co is out this week. Left a message for Chris at the contact number that was listed in the database - 541-758-7727. Chris phoned back today and said that number is the shop, and not a good way to contact him. He gave me the cell number listed above. The nitrate sample yielding a 10.1 result was taken last Friday, 8/17/12, at the North Point well approximately a week and a half after it was no longer providing water to this distribution. Management has extended the adjacent Childrens Farm Home system (ID #00226) to provide water for this section of their property. Benton Co staff have already submitted paperwork to inactivate this North Point water system.Meanwhile, Chris did turn on the North Point well last week and take one more quarterly nitrate sample just for informational purposes. It was high (10.1) but since this water system is going inactive, no action is required. ACTION NEEDED: None. | ||
