| Details: | SUMMARY: Reservoir Roof Replacement DETAILS: The Carmel Beach Water District is located north of Newport in Lincoln County. The water system serves 17 connections with an approximate population of 61 people. The system has a 2 spring groundwater system. HBH was contacted by the system to potentially provide for assistance in locating a replacement lid for a 10-foot diameter reservoir (located near the chlorination building). The existing wood construction lid is in fair to poor condition. HBH met with system personnel on site and discussed options for aluminum lids and potentially other materials, such as plastic. HBH made several attempts to contact tank lid manufacturers for assistance. Conventional aluminum tank lids, as requested are cost prohibitive. ACTION NEEDED: Research other possible construction materials for reservoir lids. | ||
