| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform repeat DETAILS: Attempted to reach system operator by phone. Sent an email, attached. It does not appear that any source samples have been taken. 7/27 Spoke to Mr. Puehl by phone. He stated the system serves 5 homes and that the first positive was on the well source and the positive repeat was from the distribution system. Only one well is active, the other is for emergency use only. There is a 6 or 77000 gallon holding tank. After the first sample they chlorinated both wells and the holding tank with 24 hr contact time. This second positive was taken from an outside hose because he could not gain access to the regular indoor tap. He thinks this is why it came back positive. Note that the state website shows all samples as DIST-A but some are actually source samples. He said he already told the users about the problem verbally. ACTION NEEDED: Non EPA | ||
