| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Treatment Assistance DETAILS: The City installed an Ion Exchange Water Treatment Plant for the removal of Arsenic from its well water. This project was originally an EPA Demonstration Project. The original 700 series media failed and was switched out by the EPA/Kinetico with 300 series media. This media has recently failed. The City contacted HBH for assistance with this situation.The City serves 1,997 people through 708 connections.Reviewed water quality data as well as a past report Batelle Corporation regarding the media failures. Discussed need for additional information with Brent Barton. ACTION NEEDED: Gather additional water quality information and assist City with determining the best course of action for media or process revisions. | ||
