| Details: | SUMMARY: Concerns about TTHM and Pesticides/Herbicides DETAILS: Ms Webster called today with concerns about the water quality of the Rockaway Beach WD. I explained the current issues associated with the TTHM exceedence. Ms Webster seemed to understand that the water system is working to address the problems. Ms Webster was also concerned about the logging practices in the water system watershed (proximity of logging activities to surface water and pesticide and herbicide use). I explained the SOC and VOC monitoring and reporting requirements of the water system. I also suggested that she call ODA and DEQ regarding regulations targeting herbicides and pesticides in Oregon. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
