| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate Sample over MCL DETAILS: 7/12/12 Nitrate sample collected on 6/20/12 at EP-A tested at a level (5.54 ppm) that exceeds 50% of the MCL. A sample collected from EP-B on the same date tested at a level of (5.57) that exceeds 50% of the MCL. Nitrate monitoring at the EP-A is already on a quarterly schedule and needs to continue. Nitrate monitoring at EP-B needs to be changed to quarterly-- a Chemical Monitoring Schedule Change Form has been sent to DMCE and a letter has been sent to Chuck Butler regarding change. ACTION NEEDED: Quarterly nitrate monitoring needs to continue at EP-A and begin at EP-B in the third quarter of 2012. | ||
