| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Total Coliform DETAILS: Sample taken 8/16/12 for third quarter 2012 taken from lodge sink was positive for total coliform. Matt also took the missing AS sample that was also positive. Spoke with Matt-- he will take four repeat samples one of which will be marked triggered and taken from the well. Furthermore, he will be taking five temporary routine samples in the month of Sept. Matt is consulting with Shilo Water to submit for chlorine (residual maintenance) plan review. We discussed the need for measuring chlorine residual twice a week and recording the residual on all further testing. He understands the need to post a public notice for the total coliform. The well has been shocked prior to the phone call so it will be expected the samples will be negative. Matt understands the samples should have been taken first. ACTION NEEDED: Sample as required above, marking samples accordingly. Publish public notice and submit plans for review for residual maintenance. | ||
