| Details: | SUMMARY: MCL violation for Sept DETAILS: Mary collected the required repeat samples and the 3 repeat samples were all total coliform positive. While there, she noted some forest service crews filling tender trucks. Turns out the well was severly depleted and told her it needs to recover. The forest service stopped this practice and to be on the safe side, Mary did lock the tap they were using to fill the trucks up with. I recommended flushing the system with a small amount of chlorine. I explained this is a MCL violation for September. A pubic notice is to be issued by the end of October. A draft public notice was mailed to Mary. A final/dated copy is to be sent to DWS. ACTION NEEDED: Issue public notice and send a copy of final version back to DWS. 5 routine samples are due in October. | ||
