| Details: | I contacted Norman by phone around 5:00PM. Upon discussing the E, Coli positive sample, he indicated he had already been notified by his water quality testing lab and is prepping for the required 3 repeat samples. Norman indicated the soonest he could get repeat samples to his lab was Monday (lab is closed on weekends). Norman was aware of the need to collect one sample at the site of the original positive routine sample location, one sample within five connections upstream, and one sample within five connections downstream. Norman believed the filtration system may be the cause of positive sample. He discovered the filter backwash cycle was not working. |
