| Details: | SUMMARY: Main break and repair on South Basin - Boil water notice needed DETAILS: Contractor broke the transmission line on 8/29/12, I found out about it on 8/30/12, so I called the operator to remind them that a boil water notice is needed after a main break and zero pressure occurs. He said that the water has been restored and he had 1.6 ppm chlorine and asked if it was still necessary. I directed him to the website and the boil water notice for zero pressure. ACTION NEEDED: He said he would look at it. There should be a notice for a least the consumers below the break if customers above the break were not without water or pressure >20 psi. | ||
