| Details: | SUMMARY: E coli positive off hand pump well DETAILS: Gary called to say they’d had a positive e coli lab result. Site is a hand pump that had been vandalized and not in use pending repair. They took the second quarter test after repairing the pup and it came back positive. Gary said he had flamed the tap prior to taking the sample, but had not chlorinated the well after repairs were completed. He has closed the pump down as of today and will not be using it until they have time to do additional work required. Rtc’d as requested in email, however, all of the Nov 2010 samples are still showing as RT. This is a hand pump-- they are all source samples. ACTION NEEDED: Will not use pump for the time being, access closed off. | ||
