| Details: | SUMMARY: Alert: Total Coliform DETAILS: David returned our call today regarding the “alert” for total coliform. He informed us that he had collected the required repeat samples and was in the process of delivering them to the laboratory. David reported that he did not believe that Oak Grove WC would meet their deadline to repair the spring construction deficiencies by 9/30/12 as indicated on the “Corrective Action Plan” from 6/14/12. We discussed out concerns regarding the partially exposed spring and the lack of progress. We informed David of the normal procedure following a failure to meet the dead-line including the requirements for a “Public Notice”. ACTION NEEDED: Take 5 “Temporary Routine” samples (for microbiological contaminates) in the distribution system during the calendar month of October. Submit plans for review to the State DWS to correct deficiencies immediately. Complete construction/repair (following plan approval) ASAP. If you miss the 9/30/12 deadline (which is likely), distribute a Public Notice and resubmit your action plan, for approval, within 30 days. | ||
