| Details: | SUMMARY: Alret: Total Coliform DETAILS: We contacted David following a “positive” test result for total coliform (absent of e coli). We left a voice message. We expressed concern that the “positive” sample has occurred immediately following the excavation of the spring box. We are also concerned that no actions have been taken to correct the construction deficiencies detailed on the approved “Corrective Action Plan” from 6/14/12. All corrections were to be completed by 9/30/12-- no plans have been submitted today-- work does not seem to be progressing as of this date. We informed David in the message of the pending sampling requirements following positive results. ACTION NEEDED: Take 3 “Repeat” samples (for microbiological contaminates) in the distribution system within 24 hours. Take 1 “triggered” sample at the source. Take 5 “Temporary Routine” samples during the calendar month of October. Submit plans for review to the State DWP to correct deficiencies immediately. Complete construction/repair (following plan review approval) ASAP. | ||
