| Details: | SUMMARY: Temp routine coliform positive for sample date 9/16/12 DETAILS: Terri called this office to ask about what further sampling needs to be done. The system has a MCL for total coliform. No repeats will be needed. They have already closed for the season as the campground closed on 9/9/12. The handle has been removed from the pump. Since they already disinfected, the system source sample (hand pump) would no loner be representative. I let them know that the system will need a source sample in the 2nd quarter as well as a routine sample to resolve the source sample violation that will be generated. She said that she would be sure to take both samples. She also said that she would talk to her contact at the Forest Service to have hand pump/well evaluation as this system has had numerous coliform detections all season long. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor samples next season and resolve violations. | ||
