Details: SUMMARY: CT Tracer Study DETAILS: Jewell School has a modular sand filter water treatment plant that provides water to the school as well as 11 connections that serve a total of 172 people. The source for the schools water is an infiltration well located on the bank of Beneky Creek. Sodium Hypochlorite is added for disinfection after the sand filters. After a reconfiguration of the water treatment system in 2011, it was necessary to determine the increased contact time. Previously collected data was on site. HBH completed tracer study based on comments from DWS. Corresponded with DWS regarding NSF approved materials and WTP ripening procedures. ACTION NEEDED: None needed at this time
