| Details: | I spoke with Shannon Tice with McNulty Water PUD to clarify the sample locations from a recent test result. The "Reservoir" location referred to a sample tap at the Robinette Reservoir. The "EP-D" location refers to the ASR zone that the problematic Robinette well had fed into. Shannon told me that within the last 30 days or so, McNulty Water PUD water system has decided to shut down the Aquifer Storage and Recovery (ASR) zone permanently and no longer use it. She says there is no water from the ASR going into the Reservoir at this time, and it is being pumped to waste. Shannon also said the water system's team will discuss implementing some sort of arsenic treatment or filtration system before using the ASR again in the future. |
