Here you go. We also discovered a break in the line on Monday afternoon. So I don't know if the water froze and finally thawed out. Or possibly a gassick broke. Who knows, we just had water shooting up in the middle of the field. So the guys fixed that on Tuesday. Also we did clear out all of the salt and clean the bottom of the salt bin which had a good deal of mud on the bottom of it. That might be where the coliform was coming from. We'll know when those results come back if that was the cause. I will wait for Amy's results.
Thanks,
Marleaux
Also we are only using the water for washing dishes and the restroom. The restaurant is very slow and we can only do take out.

Our bacteria came back good and we had Eric stop in and see why our nitrate levels were high again. He said when we cleaned it we knocked it out of its regular cycle and we were supposed to add water when we added the salt back in so it took it longer to get back to its normal levels.

Melissa,
I stopped by Bellingers on Monday after I was notified of high nitrate test. It was unusual since their previous tests had been good over the past months.

I was told they had recently emptied and cleaned the brine tank a couple of days before the test. They had added salt but no water to create brine for regeneration. The valve will add the necessary water at the end of its cycle. In short, the resins were not getting recharged the first couple regenerations. I explained this to staff and they have been manually regenerating the machine twice a day since.
