Details: | SUMMARY: Alert follow up for positive coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Mike and one of 6 repeats were positive. Original location absent and 3 triggered source samples absent. Repeat positive was in a different area of distribution as original and Mike thinks these two positive are not related and an anomaly. Work had been done in the area of the original positive and the repeat positive was taken from a swivel kitchen faucet? Discussed tier 2 public notice within 301 days. No chlorination will be done as there is no obvious cause and the assumption is that it will pass quickly and is not representative of normal water. ACTION NEEDED: Take 2 or 3 repeats to ensure water is bacteria free. Submit copy of public notice within 30 days. Discussed triggered sampling of all wells. Roats called Avion and they identified the only 2 wells that were on at the time as well as Roats #4 well. Roats has submitted a representative sampling plan but it has not yet been approved by the state. Take 5 temporary routines in November. (system normally takes 4 routines) | ||
