| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform and fecal coliform DETAILS: Mel called to report that the sauce assessment sample taken at SRC-AB taken on 9/12/12 was positive for total coliform and Ecoli. Told Mel to take 5 confirmation samples of raw water from SRC-AB, upper well #2. Called Daniel Hough. Pete Farrelly returned the call. He confirmed the next step is to take 5 confirmation samples of raw water from SRC-AB well #2. This well is only used for a very short time. This year it was used for a few hours in the morning some days during 1 week in August. It will not be use again until next year when it might be needed for supplemental water. ACTION NEEDED: Will do a sanitary survey. This will include a review of the raw water samples for the wells. Apparently Mel has been putting a cup of chlorine down the wells periodically, once a week or two. Some of the assessment samples for SRC_AA well #1 will probably need to be repeated as some had chlorine in them. | ||
