| Details: | SUMMARY: Response to lube oil spill into N. Umpqua River DETAILS: I responded to OERS 2012-2999 report at 1 pm. Pacific Corp reported 1 ounce of lube oil released to the North Umpqua River due to leak at the power plant at Fish Creek located at approximately mile post 57 Highway 138, at roughly 11 am on 12/17. After consulting DWS emergency spill maps, I contacted John. Glide not using any river water to make water at this time, and not too concerned given the amount of travel time from approximate spill location to systems intake. I provided Pacific Corp contact on OERS report to John. ACTION NEEDED: No action at this time. DWS to offer support as necessary. | ||
