Details:	SUMMARY: Arsenic Treatment Assistance DETAILS: The City of Vale installed an Ion Exchange WTP for the removal of Arsenic from its well water. This project was originally an EPA Demonstration Project. The original 700 series media failed and was switched out by the EPA/Kinetico with 300 series media. This media has recently failed. The City contacted HBH for assistance with this situation. The City serves 1,997 people through 708 connections. HBH researched media types which are more resistant to TOC fouling and corresponded with City staff regarding changed arsenic levels. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for City to provide information on cleaning strategies and work that has been done on alternative resins.
