| Details: | SUMMARY: Lead & Copper Assistance DETAILS: The Eddyville Charter School has a groundwater water system that serves approximately 200 students and staff. The October 2011 lead and copper tests resulted in lead levels over the EPA Action Level with copper approaching the Action Level (but not exceeding). HBH was briefly contacted by Mr Lightle to discuss the possibility of fixture replacement. Subsequently it was made known by County Staff that the school’s existing corrosion control system may not have been in operation. HBH provided input to DWP and County Staff regarding needs of the School water system and discussed issues with Mr Lightle by phone. Reviewed documents regarding previous treatment system. ACTION NEEDED: HBH to meet with school staff on site to provide recommendations regarding the existing corrosion control system and potential improvements needed. | ||
