| Details: | SUMMARY: Follow up for positive coliform DETAILS: Spoke with James and this sample was a follow up sample after batch chlorinating reservoir after Oct 29 positive coliform routine. Reservoir had just had a liner installed and this could be a problem. James notified all homeowners. We discussed additional chlorination and sampling site. Repeat sample site was a frost free hydrant and he will choose another location for future sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Take any applicable corrective actions (chlorinate reservoir, check cistern for openings, etc.) and then take a follow up sample to ensure absent for bacteria. Use another sampling site that is not a frost free hydrant to ensure good representative sample. | ||
