Details:	SUMMARY: Nitrate MCL Exceedence DETAILS: The School water system provides drinking and irrigation water to the current tenant of the school building, which is the Corvallis Waldorf School. The school well has nitrate levels exceeding the MCL. The first nitrate level about the MCL was seen in November 2011.The Corvallis School District contacted HBH for assistance with developing a treatment plan for the school water system.Provided preliminary options for nitrate treatment. Again met with District Staff in Corvallis to discuss methods for treatment of high nitrate water. Requested water chemistry data as well as sizing information on a reverse osmosis plant currently owned by the District. Visited school and inspected the well house. ACTION NEEDED: Assist District with an action plan for nitrate treatment.
