| Details: | SUMMARY: TC-positive routine sample and aftermath DETAILS: Ron Wilkie and I exchanged messages on Friday. He had already taken the 3 repeats (because population> 1000), plus one sample from each of the two sources in use at the time - well 7 and the springs. Today he got the lab results. The distribution sites and well 7 were absent for bacteria, so there is no MCL violation for coliform. The spring source tested TC+, but not EC+. Ron plans to get back up the springs when the weather and snow pack allows, and clean up the spring boxes some more. Ron has also replaced the faucet at the shop which tested TC+ because previous freezing may have compromised his ability to properly sterilize it. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of the 5 temporary routine samples next month (March). | ||
