| Details: | SUMMARY: limite Boil Notice due to loss of pressure DETAILS: At approximately 11:00 AM on 02/24/13 the southern and eastern portions of the Coos Bay North Bend Water Board system (PWS 00205) were without power due to a Pacific Power outage. As a results, seven hydropneumatic (on-demand) service areas, serving approximately 200 connections, lost pressure. Power was restored at approximately 7:00 PM on 02/24/13, and subsequently distribution pressure. Coliform sampling was conducted in all affected areas after distribution pressure was restored on the evening of 02/24 and again on the morning of 02/25. The boil notice will be lifted pending sample results. The following areas are currently subject to the boil notice:• Market Avenue west of North 5th Street• Minnesota Avenue west of 14th Street South• California Avenue including 15th to 22nd Street west of Southwest Boulevard• Pennsylvania Avenue and Iowa Avenue west of Pennsylvania Place• Sierra Road west of Shasta Road• Shinglehouse Road, Shriner’s Road and Woodruff Lane east of Bright’s Mill Road• Shoshone Lane and Karl Road west of Flagstaff Road ACTION NEEDED: none - Boil notice lifted noon 2013 February 26 | ||
