Details: | SUMMARY: Responded to Arsenic Alert DETAILS: Arsenic treatment sample was not taken from treatment location where temporary treatment is located (good for about 8,000 gallons-- changes filters about every 3,000 gallons)-- it’s a small on-demand location at the pump house prior to going through the pressure tank to the distrubtion system to get treated water at the park (not available to the park unless they go to this particular fountain). No plan review on this temporary filtration. Mike is going to request Delta labs sumbit a repeat sample from the temporary treatment faucet. The original Arsenic sample was taken from the raw water sample source facucet. Mike is going to submit plan review for an iron phosphate media filtration system in next 6-8 weeks- will submit plans to Jay Macphearson (treatment is coming from Geoergia). Wiating on construction plans to submit. Public notice to park required with dates, level of existing Arsenic and proposed plans. ACTION NEEDED: Post public notice. Waiting for results from repeat samples (does not invalidate existing sample as the filteration media was not approved through plan review and treated water is not available to the entire park-- only to a small sample point a the the pump house). | ||
