| Details: | SUMMARY: One of four tested positive for coliform DETAILS: spoke to facility owner who is new and not very experienced on water system. He was not certain whether this sample was a routine follow up sample or shat. Went over with him verbally the deficiencies noted in last survey as possible sources of contamination: faulty lid on reservoir, open holes in top of ill fitting sanitary seal,etc. He thinks that he just messed up one of the samples but hard to tell. Reviewed test history of system. Spoke to Daniel Hough to verify if further sampling was required and emailed links to owner re: required sampling schedule (including a source sample). Chlorine treatment of well and reservoir and other possible corrective actions he could take. Facility is now closed for the season and only the owners are drawing from the well at present. ACTION NEEDED: Await sample results and follow up with owners. | ||
