| Details: | SUMMARY: Lifting of Boil Water Notice - Isolation of Zimmerman Spring Source DETAILS: The boil water advisory for this water system was lifted earlier today - following confirmation from the water systems that 1) Zimmerman Springs had been disconnected from the distribution system, 2) sampling of the distribution system indicated the absence of coliform bacteria, and 3) Chlorine residual present in the distribution system (currently at 1.5 ppm). Zimmerman Spring will remain offline until otherwise approved by DWS and the County. The water system must provide a formal corrective action plan to deal with all deficiencies identified by the County of both spring sources. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for receipt of corrective action plan. Potential site visit with Tom Pattee. | ||
