| Details: | SUMMARY: Ecoli positive update DETAILS: Ecoli confirmed at well #3. Spoke with Don regarding the options. Don said the well is not connected to the system at this tie and has not been since October. No boil water required. Submitted a well evaluation request to Shawn Stevenson. Operator would like to correct the problem rather than cover with chlorine. Waiting for results from well evaluation. The cause of the contamination was suspected to be an old black hose connected to the source. Sanitary seal to be resealed and new sanitary cap for the well head. Once the well has been shock chlorinated and resealed 12 months of raw water samples are to be completed to verify Ecoli issue is resolved. See attached email from operator. ACTION NEEDED: Replace sanitary seal, shock chlorinate and begin 12 months raw water sampling January 2013 | ||
