| Details: | SUMMARY: Ecoli source sample positive 2/11/13 DETAILS: I had contacted the system on 2/5/13 about taking a source sample as the system had a monitoring violation for no source sample in 2012 The system sampled on 2/11/13 and was positive for Ecoli. I contacted the system and spoke with Susan Lawson new manager. She said that her husband Johnnie was taking care of the system and he was out. I let her know that 5 confirmation samples would be needed at the source and I would be coming out in the morning to help out since they were new to the system. I went out and met the new managers, 2/14/13 and found the spring collection box had a leak in the side of the concrete box. The lids for the spring box were also determined to be damaged/deteriorated to the extent that they no longer made an adequate seal. See file for more info ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up samples and respond as necessary. Send an inventory update to the state fro the new contacts. | ||
