Details: SUMMARY: Iron and Sulfur Treatment DETAILS: The Douglas County Parks Dept. has a public drinking water system at the Pass Creek Park which is served by a single well. In addition to a recent coliform issue, this well has the potentially conflicting issues of high iron and hydrogen sulfide levels. At the recommendation of Jay MacPherson, the water testing and compliance person for the Parks Dept., Jon Everett, contacted HBH to provide a cursory review of what they were planning on installing to deal with both the coliform and the iron and hydrogen sulfide problems at the park.Previously reviewed materials sent by the Parks plumbing contractor to verify that they would meet the basic intent of the treatment regime.Further verified sizing and applicability of proposed filter media. ACTION NEEDED: None needed.
