Details:	SUMMARY: Customer complaint DETAILS: Holly explained her frustration with the lack of progress being made to lift the boil water notice in effect at Oak Grove WC. In addition to her family health concerns, she explained she has a farm and needs to provide safe drinking water and sanitation to agriculture workers. She was calling me to ask what specifically she or I could do to expedite the necessary actions to lift the boil water notice. I explained DWS role as reviewing the water systems proposed actions to remedy the situation for conformance with state construction standards, and that our role is not to engineer or design a proposed solution for the water system. I referred her to the water system, and she indicated that she is not able to reach the operator through various means of communication, and has spoke to Hood River County Environmental Health about this. ACTION NEEDED: I notified Hood River County Env. Health and David Stohland, operator, about Hollys call. I also notified the County that she plans to attend the upcoming water district public meeting. I explained to Holly that I am available if she has further technical questions on the water systems plan review submittal, and explained DWS role as supporting the County as the primary regulating agency for the system.
