Details: SUMMARY: Discussed new water system requirements DETAILS: I called Jim regarding reports that the Desert Meadows water system has existed as an unregulated water system for several years. The system purchases water from the Redmond Water Dept. and was thought to be annexed as part of the City but that isnt the case. Jim explained that the HOA intends on complying with the regulations and I summarized plan review, sampling, cross connection, and operational requirements. We agreed that DWS will issue a letter outlining all of the water systems requirements before a HOA meeting on May 21. ACTION NEEDED: Draft and mail letter identifying all the actions required of the water system.
